Stamping and Cardmaking with a little side of Scrapbooking.....Bon Appetit !!

It may sound silly, but one thing I was looking forward to as my little guys started school was baking treats for his class on special occasions.
Sadly...there is a no treat policy at his school and I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do (lip glosses and pencils from the dollar store ??)
So a few weeks ago when Joyce sent me a beautiful Owl bookmark I was saved ! Totally cased her design, and thankfully crafty friends had the Owl Punch from SU and PTI's bookmark die for me to borrow...
These were done surprisingly quickly. I sent the circle and pinking circle from Limitless layers through my big shot together.. and instead of gluing the itty bitty eye centres I used a white gel pen.
Also, I cut the strips of paper to an approximate length before punching them out to conserve paper and avoid a bunch of punched out shapes I didn't need.
Vasili loved them, his classmates and teacher loved them, and he loooooved handing them out on the playground !!

  1. Those little owls are so cute! We can't send homemade things I do a lot of little bags and pockets with candy - store bought - and then I also buy a lot of things from Oriental Trading online at the end of season...get really cheap things there on clearance to use for the holiday coming the next year if you know what I mean. Stickers and spider rings and whistles, things like that.

  2. These came out so cute. Love the papers you used and the color scheme. This was truly a labor of love, as I know how long it would take to make this many.

  3. These are adorable, Rose and such a great idea! My son's school changed policies and candy giving isn't allowed now.

  4. Rose these are TOTALLY adorable!! Great job!

  5. Simply adorable. Love the colors you chose. The PP is awesome.

  6. Those are so cute and what a perfect gift for some new readers! Love that owl :)

  7. Bookmarks are a great idea for school treats!!! Maybe I need to order to bookmark die now (I had not before since most of my family/friends have e-readers)

  8. What a great idea for a gift and these are absolutely adorable! Love the colors.
